“3lives” is a Hip Hop artist that blends modern and older styles of Rap with aspects of Indie and Alternative Rock. With each song rooted in life experiences and aspirations, no two songs sound alike. Making each album and song out of a portable studio that rides along with him wherever he goes, every piece reflects a particular space, time, and frame of mind along his journey.
Previously releasing music under the name of “Yung Shmang” on Soundcloud in his freshman year of college, it wasn’t until sometime in 2019 when “3lives” came about. Working with a small setup in a dorm room with another friend quickly became an opportunity to rap with an audience and a network of other likeminded musicians. Eventually becoming the norm, working with a portable recording studio became the consistent method for 3lives to produce music in his nomadic lifestyle.
The music reflects the different aspects of life he has undergone, from the more harsh realities of growing up, to questioning the deeper philosophies of the human experience we all come across from time to time. Although many of the beats are self-produced, 3lives enjoys working with the sounds of different engineers and producers, focusing on the lyricism and structure of the songs he releases. With 100+ songs and 10 albums/projects available on all streaming platforms, there is an abundance of 3lives music to explore.
Having moved over 28 times in his life, 3lives lives a nomadic lifestyle, mostly traveling around the United States and occasionally to other countries. Currently residing in the mountains of Colorado, he spends much of his time outside of music and working either hiking, camping, and/or enjoying whatever adventures the great outdoors has to offer.
